Sphero Ramp

Today with Elizabeth we had to make a ramp for the sphero’s. I worked with Ezra.

Our ramp had a stand underneath it, with three bits of little cardboard.

The challenging thing about building the ramp was that it wasn't standing up properly.

This morning we learnt about the native trees in New Zealand. Kymaira and I chose to do the pohutukawa tree.

The Pohutukawa Trees english name and scientific name is Metrosideros Excelsa.

It grows best in warm and drier places so mainly the North Island, the tree is an Evergreen tree.

The Maori used the Pohutukawa Tree for medical uses and others used the wood for ship building.

Today in math with Sharon we learnt about the divisibility chart.

Why do we need to know this?

24 ➗ 2 = 12

Winter Sport

Last Friday we had our first game for winter sport. We went to Avonside Girls High School to play netball. The A team, who I play for, played against South New Brighton and won 25-14. We had good defenders, we had our best shooters in GA and GS and I feel like we're shaping up to be a great team. I played C and WD. I'm really looking forward to the season because my team is the best I've played with in a while.
